This monthly workshop is intended to help women in our community learn, heal and grow from experiences of trauma.

An understanding of how the ‘Living Legacy of Trauma’ (a term coined by the wonderful Janina Fisher) may be impacting your life.

Simple, practical tools for healing underlying causes of trauma symptoms.

A safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to gather with a small group of women who have also experienced trauma and its aftermath
How this workshop can help you.
As a registered Psychotherapist specialising in trauma treatment, I have developed a highly effective integrated approach to trauma healing with the combination of education, practical tools and a group setting.
Learning about the impact of trauma, helps you feel like, ‘Oh, so there’s NOT something wrong with me??!!’. It helps dissolve confusion and despair, that I know all too well when I first dealt with PTSD. You will have SO many ‘ah-ha’ moments of understanding about yourself, your triggers, reactions, relationship patterns and so much more.
Practical tools are essential. Talk therapy alone IS NOT SUFFICIENT for true trauma healing. We also need to learn how to work with the body, emotions and our mind. My approach includes a balance of somatic, emotion-focused and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) to address this.
Lastly, the group setting. As humans it is in our nature to grow, develop and heal within a social environment. Safe attachment figures and a community of support is crucial for our well-being. As community isolation and loneliness is at an all-time high, it is more important than ever to gather as groups in a place where you feel seen, heard and understood.If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please also reach out to me and we can discuss options.
One-on-one psychotherapy sessions
I offer one-on-one therapy sessions and women’s trauma healing workshops in a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. Using a blend of somatic therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, I’ll help you process past experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of safety and self-trust. Healing is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.
